zomg, I just received my snupin_santa prompt! I'm so excited and nervous and will probably be wibbling about it over the next few months! (gah! only 2 1/2 months to write and edit! gah!) But, really, it's a fantastic match!

1) I'm totally enamoured by all the Sherlock/John fic (based on the new BBC series).

2) I love that I can find the most recced fic on del.icio.us

3) I also really want to read a Snape/Lupin fic AU crossover fic, where Snape and Lupin run into Sherlock and John Watson, and somehow Sherlock gets Snupin together...

4) It's been very hard to resist signing up for Snupin Santa this year. I really don't do well with fest fic deadlines, but this year has been particularly difficult to remember that (and signups are still going on until tonight midnight). oh, god - I just signed up for Snupin Santa. I haven't done a holiday fest since 2007! *bites nails*

This and that

(1) I have a hair apt booked for next week, and I'm trying to decide between continuing with the red, or going back to blonde.

(2) Seeing names that I recognize in public spaces (news, blogs, fandom_wank) is strange.

(3) I had an asylum of writers descend upon my home last night. Much food, wine and book talk was had, although we all have such different tastes, that we ended up talking about movies instead.

(3b) One of the writers reads about 4 books a week. It made me wonder how much I fic I read would add up to each week.

(4) I'm very much enjoying Snupin Santa and hd_holidays. But I've been very bad and not commenting at all this time around, and instead have been mostly lurking.
