Wow - this all looks delicious! I'm really impressed at the hard work you did. I love the Supervisors.

I have a Buche de Noel recipe that uses a mascarpone based espresso filling - I used to make it (minus the espresso - she hates coffee) for Merrie as her birthday cake. I'll post the recipe for you.

Also, for the squash, I think you can microwave it quickly to deal with the rind, or, you know, use a vegetable peeler...

I'm coming to your house for the holidays this year, omgyes.

I didn't think about microwaving the squash first! I'll have to remember to that this year. I actually started to use a vegetable peeler (I have a really good quality one), but ended up switching to a paring knife and then finally a chef's knife. I cut it in half first, then in wide half-rings, then in the end with the chef's knife sawing down the edge of the skin. It was a huge pain.

And I'd love to get the recipe from you!
