I watched Sherlock Holmes last night, and can I just say how awesome it was!

I have so much love for Mary. They could have very easily made her into a hen-pecking shrew, yet they didn't. And it was so nice to watch that kind of female character.

The rest of the movie was amazing, and I'm still feeling a bit aglow at the storyline, visuals, action, shirtless RDJ, the interaction between Holmes and Watson, and Jude Law's way of speaking *happy sigh*

I'm sure there are flaws, but nothing obviously noticeable while I was watching.

What did you all think?

... I actually thought it was too long and dragged in places. There were things I really liked, but I think it should have been like 20 minutes shorter.

The Holmes/Watson = House/Wilson dynamic was awesome though. (I can't remember if you even watch House, but it is totally the same... almost.)

I have to admit I was disappointed that the internet lied and that there was no scene with RDJ and JL in bed together.

Also, my firefox spellcheck add-on is telling me that I misspelled "internet" and that it should be capslocked O_o

Ha. My iPhone always capitalizes internet, but it has never tried to capslock it. I guess maybe INTERNET is like God to Firefox, since without it, it wouldn't exist... and capslock = reverence?

I didn't hear that rumor! I wonder if it was filmed and then cut, or just never existed...

Also, despite the fact that I thought the movie dragged, I still have a bizarre urge to write fic. Weird.

Bizarrely, I want to read HPDM fic, with that kind of dynamic, where Harry is trying to leave Draco as his business partner to stop chasing adventure now that he has three kids (with Ginny not being a nag or evil bitca). Without it somehow being adultery fic.

lol - DH thought that it was a sign the Internet was self-aware now and required a capitalized name at the very least ;)
